Dalynnja Le Clerq Couture is a one-woman slow fashion label based in the Netherlands, founded by fashion designer and vintage lover Dalynnja de Klerk. Each piece is custom designed, carefully handmade, and inspired by the glamour of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s—think elegance, detail, and timeless silhouettes.

✦ How does made-to-order work?

Made to order means your garment is only created after you place your order. This ensures zero fabric waste, ethical production, and a piece that’s made with you in mind from start to finish. You can order in a standard size or request customizations like waist or skirt length adjustments. Want it fully made to measure? That’s an option too!

✦ Can I order a made to measure garment?

Yes! With the Made to Measure option, your garment is crafted according to your exact body measurements. Once you’ve chosen your design, fill out the measurement form here, and Dalynnja will take it from there. There is a small additional fee for this personalized service.

✦ What sizes are available?

Standard sizes range from XXS (EU 32) to XXL (EU 44).
If your measurements fall in between sizes, or you’d like to tweak the fit—like adjusting the waist or hem—just leave your notes at checkout, and Dalynnja will customize it accordingly. View the Size Guide & Chart

✦ How do I take my measurements?

✦ How long does it take to make my garment?

Each piece is carefully handmade, so please allow 3 to 6 weeks for production depending on complexity and order volume. Good things take time—and beautiful things are always worth the wait.

✦ Do you ship internationally?

✦ Can I return or exchange a custom piece?

Due to the handmade, made-to-order nature of the garments, returns and exchanges are not possible—especially for made-to-measure or customized pieces. However, if you encounter any issues or something isn’t quite right, Dalynnja will always do her best to help.

✦ What’s the difference between Made to Measure and Made to order?

Made to Measure starts with an existing design that's adjusted just for you.
Made to order (fully custom) is built from scratch; every seam, curve, and silhouette is crafted uniquely for your body and style.

At DLC, most orders follow our made-to-measure route for beautiful customization, but fully bespoke designs are also available—just ask!

✦ Can I bring my own fabric?

Absolutely! Love a special fabric? Send it my way, and I’ll work with it—just share any details (weight, drape, origin) so I can make your design shine.

Yes! If your country doesn’t appear as a shipping option, just send me a message and I’ll do my best to arrange a custom shipping solution for you. DLC Couture ships worldwide whenever possible, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

✦ Will I have to pay customs duties, taxes, or import fees?

Possibly. Import fees, customs duties, and taxes vary by country and are not included in your order total. These charges are set by your national customs office and are the buyer’s responsibility.

If you think your fees were calculated incorrectly, you have the legal right to request a detailed invoice from your local customs authority or delivery service. They may be able to clarify or even refund excess charges.
