By shopping at www.dlccouture.com you agree to the following terms regarding sales, payment, and delivery. These conditions comply with the latest legal requirements for online businesses within the EU, including GDPR, remote commerce regulations, and consumer protection legislation.

Article 1. Definitions
1.1 DLC Couture is a Netherlands-based online webshop that designs and sells vintage-inspired clothing and accessories, handcrafted by Dalynnja de Klerk.
1.2 These terms and conditions ("Conditions") govern all online transactions through www.dlccouture.com and are aligned with the guidelines of the Dutch Consumers' Association and applicable EU consumer protection directives.

 

Article 2. Applicability
2.1 These Conditions apply to every offer, order, or agreement made through www.dlccouture.com, excluding any other general terms.
2.2 By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Conditions.
2.3 Deviations must be in writing. A deviation from one clause does not affect the others.

 

Article 3. Agreement Formation
An agreement is formed once the customer has completed the checkout process and DLC Couture has confirmed the order. DLC Couture may refuse or request further information for an order. If refused, we will notify the customer with justification.

 

Article 4. Prices
4.1 All prices for EU-based customers include VAT. For non-EU customers, VAT is not charged, but local import duties or taxes may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
4.2 Shipping fees are shown prior to order confirmation.
4.3 Prices are subject to correction in the case of errors (e.g., typographical mistakes).
4.4 DLC Couture is not responsible for incorrectly calculated customs duties; customers should contact their local customs office if needed.

 

Article 5. Payment
5.1 Payments must be completed at checkout via the following secure methods:

  • iDeal

  • PayPal (no extra fees)

  • Klarna (Pay Later, if available)

  • Bancontact

  • Sofort

  • Giropay

  • Visa / MasterCard / American Express

  • Bank transfer

  • Invoice (on request)
    All transactions are processed via Mollie in a secure payment environment.

5.2 For bank transfers, payment must be received within 5 business days to avoid cancellation.
5.3 DLC Couture reserves the right to take reasonable steps to verify payments.

 

Article 6. Delivery
6.1 All items are handmade and processed within 3 to 6 weeks after payment, unless stated otherwise.
6.2 Partial delivery only occurs in consultation. Customers will be notified of delays.
6.3 DLC Couture cannot be held responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party carriers.
6.4 Orders are shipped via PostNL with Track & Trace.

 

Article 7. Retention of Title
Ownership of items transfers to the customer once the products have been delivered to the address provided.

 

Article 8. Returns
8.1 All products are custom-made and non-refundable. The right of withdrawal does not apply. Sales are final after payment.
8.2 If there are concerns about the product, email us at info@dlccouture.com. We'll work toward a fair solution.

 

Article 9. Complaints
9.1 Report any defects or order mismatches within a reasonable timeframe via email.
9.2 Quality complaints (e.g., wear, damage) will be handled based on washing/care instructions supplied with the item.
9.3 Complaints due to improper care will not be honored.

 

Article 10. Cancellation
Orders can be canceled within 2 days of placement. Contact info@dlccouture.com with your order number to cancel.

 

Article 11. Withdrawal
Because all items are made to order, the legal right of withdrawal does not apply (per Article 6:230p BW). Contact us directly for concerns; customer satisfaction is our priority.

 

Article 12. Orders & Communication
DLC Couture is not liable for delays or errors due to faulty internet or communication tools unless intent or gross negligence is proven.

 

Article 13. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, pandemic, war, supply chain failure), DLC Couture reserves the right to cancel or delay orders without liability.

 

Article 14. Legal Jurisdiction
14.1 All agreements and these terms are governed by Dutch law.
14.2 Disputes may be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
14.3 If a clause is found invalid, the remainder of the terms remain valid.
14.4 DLC Couture and the customer shall agree on a replacement clause reflecting the purpose of the invalid clause.
