Made to order at DLC Couture means more than custom sizing—it’s the opportunity to bring your dream garment to life. Whether you already have a clear vision—sketches, inspiration images, or detailed ideas—or you would like guidance in shaping your concept from the very beginning, I’m here to create something truly personal, designed exclusively for you.

Every custom piece begins with your story. Your preferences, your mood, your silhouette, and the occasion you are dressing for all become part of the creative process. The more details you can share, the better I can design a garment that not only fits your body beautifully, but also reflects your personality and spirit.

 

The First Step: A Personal Consultation

Every garment begins with a personal design consultation.

During this session, we explore your ideas, preferred silhouettes, fabrics, and design details. Together we define the overall direction of the garment and discuss what will best complement your body and personal style.

The consultation fee is €180 and covers the time and expertise required to:

  • discuss your design ideas and inspiration

  • explore silhouettes and styling directions

  • research suitable fabrics and materials

  • develop the overall design concept and create an initial design sketch

Please note that additional sketches or further preparatory work beyond the consultation will be billed separately at my hourly rate and will be included in the final price of your garment.

 

From Concept to Couture

Once the concept is defined, you will complete a personalized sizing form, or—if you are able to visit in person—your measurements will be taken at the atelier.

From there the couture process begins:

  • a custom pattern is developed based on your measurements
  • fabrics and materials are carefully selected
  • if necessary, a fitting sample (toile) is created to refine the fit
  • the garment is then crafted by hand with meticulous attention to detail

Each piece is constructed stitch by stitch, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and a beautifully tailored fit.

Depending on the complexity of the design, turnaround time typically ranges from several weeks to a few months.
